SMS Program Terms and Conditions
Program description: By opting in, you agree to receive SMS text messages from your healthcare provider, powered by Turnipcare, related to appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling. No protected health information (PHI), diagnoses, or test results are sent via SMS.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your scheduling activity (typically 1–5 messages per scheduled appointment).
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-in method: You may opt in by checking the optional SMS consent box on your patient intake or registration form, or by providing consent to office staff when scheduling your appointment.
Consent is optional: Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of receiving care or services from your healthcare provider. You may schedule and receive appointments regardless of whether you opt in to text messaging.
Opt-out: Text STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you've been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. To resume, opt in again using the original sign-up method.
